from the "Chicago School of Fusing"!
Several guild members spent yesterday learning the fine art of fusing with Laura Wasilowski. It was fun! I mean it was like being a little kid again and just playing with fabric and shape and cutting free hand (which was scary for the adult me) but the kid me was brave!
I made these two pieces at the workshop.
the third one (upper right in picture below) I made after the class and before the meeting and then this morning I got up and played around for a bit.
Sadly, I realized after I fused it down, that I had fused the background piece wrong side up (with the Wonder Under side up that is). It's not usable.
Oh bother.
I learned my lesson: Never fuse before coffee!
